The track was recorded during a three-day storm on the Pacific coast, utilizing a custom-built binaural microphone array to capture the spatial characteristics of the breaking waves.
The Production Process
We wanted to capture the contrast between organic chaos and digital precision. The waves represent absolute entropy, while the synth lines are strictly synchronized to a 120 BPM grid.
